One of the latest assignments my daughter has is to sketch water in a few different forms. We took photos this weekend of a few different examples and these are 2 of the ones she's using as her guides.

Taken at the Santa Barbara Zoo in January of this year. I love taking pictures at the zoo and the beach more than anywhere and my hard drive will attest to that.

I've always wanted a wall of glass blocks, around a jacuzzi or garden tub at least. I think I need a house with a better view first though, they'd be a bit out of place in my neighborhood.

 

This is the little brother to the hot dog statue from the Freezette that I saw in Huntington at the Hot Dog Festival. His arm is broken and I felt sorry for him and wanted to take him home but I didn't think United would let me have him in my carry-on.

Im 99.8% certain I took this with my Palm Treo phone in my back yard. I loved the pink light coming through the clouds and how fluffy they looked that day.
